橘皮通常分布在<span class="box-yellow">大腿、臀部、腹部等脂肪較多之處</span>，而這些因為脂肪擠壓而造成的表面突起，外表酷似<span class="orange b f1em">橘子的表面</span>，因此稱為橘皮。</p>
<p>而橘皮認真來說，是由於脂肪過於肥大，壓迫到皮膚真皮下的細胞產生隆起，推擠到結締組織時產生凹陷，進而造成<span class="orange b f1em">表面肌膚凹凸不平</span>。</p>

橘皮大約可以分成4種類型</p>
<h3>脂肪型</h3>
<p>體重過重或是身型肥胖的人會比一般人更容易得到橘皮，原因是脂肪過多會與老廢物結合，並且大多集中在<span class="box-yellow">臀部以及下腹部，</span>是任何年齡層都可能發生的壯狀況。</p>
<h3>水腫型</h3>
<p>血液循環不良會導致水腫等問題，過多的脂肪與水分就會導致<span class="box-yellow">小腿肚、大腿</span>等部位產生橘皮組織，特色為東凸一塊西凸一塊，更加凹凸不平。</p>
<h3>纖維糾纏型</h3>
<p>當橘皮形成的時間加長，肌肉周圍的組織纖維糾纏在一起，過於嚴重可能會導致疼痛發生，但極為罕見。</p>
<h3>肌肉減少型</h3>
<p>如果是平常有在運動、訓練肌肉的人，停止運動導致肌肉量下降，增長的脂肪也會讓橘皮生成。</p>

雖然根據研究，還不知道確切產生的原因為何，只知道與脂肪堆積有強烈的關聯性，以下原因為橘皮產生的各種可能性。</p>

<p>造成甲狀腺功能低下的原因有很多，其中兩種最常見的，一種是<span class="line-yellow"><strong>甲狀腺生病發炎</strong></span>，也是造成甲狀腺低下最大的原因「橋本氏症」；另一種則是<span class="line-yellow"><strong>甲狀腺亢進治療後產生的副作用</strong></span>。</p>
<h3>橋本氏症</h3>

<h4>❱ 飲食習慣</h4>
<p>如長期<span class="orange b f1em">熬夜</span>、<span class="orange b f1em">睡眠不足</span>、或是吃太多<span class="orange b f1em">高鈉</span>、<span class="orange b f1em">高糖</span>、<span class="orange b f1em">重口味</span>的食物，這些不良的生活習慣都會造成<span class="orange b f1em">淋巴循環不良</span>，體內也因此較容易囤積水分、形成水腫。</p>

<p>不只喝太多水會導致水腫，若攝取的水分太少，水循環功能也會跟著低下，體內多餘的<span class="orange b f1em">水分</span>及<span class="orange b f1em">老廢物質就無法順利排出</span>，一樣會<span class="orange b f1em">囤積於體內</span>並產生<span class="orange b f1em">浮腫</span>。</p>

<h4>❱ 生理性水腫</h4>
<p>懷孕後，孕婦體內的<span class="orange b f1em">黃體素荷爾蒙會出現改變</span>，不只體內水分增加，還容易滯留在體內，再加上隨著胎兒成長，<span class="orange b f1em">子宮也會越來越大</span>，進而<span class="orange b f1em">壓迫到骨盆腔</span>及<span class="orange b f1em">周圍血管</span>，並<span class="orange b f1em">降低血液回流循環</span>。水分與血液都積在下半身就會形成水腫現象，水腫部位多為小腿、腳踝與腳背，不過通常會在產後逐漸改善。</p>
